BASIC RULES

• Take off your boots and shoes at the door.
• Dirty dishes go in the sink or dishwasher.
• Don't bump your head on the stairs.
• We are subject to the short term rental laws in Summit County and when we are not here, you are in charge. This is essentially what you agreed to when booking with Airbnb. Make sure you review our rules and know they are compliant with the local laws.

PARKING The county regulates Airbnb rentals and limits our renters to maximum of 5 vehicles. All vehicles are required to park in the driveway. I know this can be a hassle but unfortunately we do not have any say in the matter :(

• Be careful of the tree on the right while backing out.
• Parking in the cul-de-sac is illegal and can get you towed, even though others do it all the time.
• Feel free to park on the grass.

DRINK MORE H2O Our house is at 9,200 feet and altitude sickness happens all the time. The key to preventing altitude sickness is drinking a TON of water. If you drink one gallon of water at sea level, you'll want to drink MORE than two gallons up here.

PET RULES

• Please keep pets off beds and furniture.
• If your pet goes on the floor there is a carpet shampoo cleaner in the front closet. Please don't leave pee stains.
• Pick up after your pet outside. There is a green garbage container on the back post of the deck.
• Don't leave your pet out unattended outside, lots of wildlife, bears, moose, fox, mountain lion, frequent the area. The deck has 2x retractable briars to keep your pets on the deck.
• You are responsible for your pet and will be charged for anything destroyed or damaged by them.

QUIET HOURS Be quiet outside after 10pm, it is the law. If the neighbors call the cops you could be fined. If they call the short term rental hotline, we could lose our rental license. For this reason, Please do not be loud outside late at night and move it inside after 10pm.

NO MOOP We maintain a "No Moop'ing' policy at The Porcupine Court. M.O.O.P stands for, "Matter Out Of Place". This consists of any abandoned matter found inside, outside, or anywhere else in the county.
If you come across a lonely trail map that lost his ski buddy, pick him up and escort him to the nearest trash can.
If you find a crushed "Duff Lite" with dreams of becoming the next aluminum airplane wing, find her a promising recycling bin to give her the second chance she deserves.
The point is that this place, Keystone, Summit County, Colorado, Earth... is fricken' beautiful! It's up to us, to keep it that way. Do not litter. Leave no trace. Pack-it-in, Pack-it-out, recycle. You know the drill. Enjoy the beauty and preserve it for the next generations. Or at least your next trip and the guests you'll want to share it with.

CANNABIS As I'm sure you know, the state of Colorado has approved very friendly legislation for those seeking "additional altitude" on their Rocky Mountain vacation. Talk to Kyle if you are looking for the best places to smoke. There is officially a "no smoking in the house" policy.

Guest(s) understand that we do everything possible to keep all mechanical amenities in working order. There is no monetary compensation or refunds of any kind for amenities that have mechanical or other failure during a Guest(s) stay. If something breaks, contact Kyle and he will do his best to get it fixed asap.
