GOLDEN RULE: Please treat our home the way you would treat your home DO NOT SMOKE IN OR AROUND THE HOUSE DO NOT USE THE GRILL AGAINST THE HOUSE; PULL IT 2FT AWAY FROM THE SIDING POOL / HOT TUB USE: IMPORTANT: Be EXTREMELY careful in the 2 hot tubs. They are very expensive, luxury items. Any spills mean our staff needs to drain the water, refill, and replace all chemicals. This is a 3-4-hour job and may result in the loss of a security deposit or a $400.00 fine. IMPORTANT: If you spill any alcoholic or sugary liquids in the pool or hot tubs this will forfeit your security deposit. PLEASE treat them gingerly and with respect. Please shower before using pool or hot tubs. Be careful getting in and out. Do NOT step on the knobs; they will break. Put lid back on hot tubs after each use. Take out any/all leaves or pine-needles after use. Do not drink to excess before (or during) use of hot tubs. POOL USE: Please make sure to CAREFULLY remove the pool cover and replace it after you are done. There is a potential for drowning in the pool and hottub areas. Please NO RUNNING around pool. NO FIREWORKS NO SHOOTING GUNS ON PROPERTY PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON ANY OF THE FURNITURE. EXTRA CLEANING COSTS WILL BE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE GUEST. QUIET HOURS BETWEEN 10 PM AND 8 AM; THERE IS A TOWN ORDINANCE IN PLACE AT NIGHT.
CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS: Please take note of how the interior and exterior of the property looks when you arrive. You are expected to return the property back to its original condition before you check out. Please do not reorganize furniture in the house. You are expected to return the furniture back to their original location before you check out. We try our best to keep both kitchens stocked with everything you would need to cook or serve a meal. Please make sure all dishes, silverware, and cookware end up back in their original place in order to keep each kitchen well equipped for the next guests. Please wipe down dining and kitchen surfaces. Please sweep the kitchen and the great room floors (especially around tables where meals took place.) There is a broom and dustpan in the entryway closet. Please load all dirty dishes into the dishwashers and begin a load prior to leaving. Please strip beds and put linens (bed sheets and pillow cases) in one of the pillow cases. Pile used bathroom towels on the bathroom floor. To conserve energy and water, please leave unused towels in their original location. Please strip the duvet covers ONLY IF they were soiled during your stay. Please do not worry about washing any linens; our staff will take care of that! All cleaning supplies can be found in the kitchen closet / under kitchen sink. In Summer: Please make sure all AC units are turned off before you leave. Please empty the kitchen trash cans, the trash/recycling bins in the large common room, and the trash bins in the theater and pool rooms. Please place trash and recycling in the dumpsters out in the parking lot; trash is on the right, recycling is on the left. If you turned up the heat, set the thermostats all back to 60F degrees.
