About Property

Discover the magic of Tahquitz Rock Lodge, a characterful, multi-level log cabin tucked into the towering pines of Fern Valley in Idyllwild-Pine Cove, California. This is not a cookie-cutter mountain rental; it is a one-of-a-kind retreat with soul and history, designed to make you forget your phone ever existed.

The home features 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms, providing a comfortable sanctuary for up to 8 guests. The upstairs master suite is a highlight, boasting a sleigh bed and gorgeous windows looking into the treetops, complemented by a private en suite bathroom featuring a luxurious soaking tub, beautiful tile work, and a green vanity. Downstairs, two additional bedrooms maintain the cabin's unique character, including a second sleigh bed and a full bathroom. The first floor offers an additional living area centered around a warm wood-burning stove and a double futon, creating a perfect quiet corner for families.

Inside, the main living area is a showstopper with soaring vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and a magnificent stone fireplace flanked by an extensive library. A stunning wall of windows frames the pines like a living portrait. The heart of the home is connected by a dramatic spiral wooden staircase that serves as a conversation piece for every group.

Step outside to the full wraparound deck circling the second floor. This outdoor oasis includes a table for six for al fresco dining, wooden sunbathing loungers, and intimate two-person seating nooks. As a designated dark sky area, the stars above Fern Valley are breathtaking once lights go out at 9pm.
