Experience the magic of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve at The Gathering Place, a stunning retreat consisting of two beautifully appointed homes nestled on 5 private acres in Coupeville, Washington. Perfectly designed for large groups, extended families, or multiple generations, this secluded sanctuary offers the ideal balance of togetherness and privacy. This land carries five generations of local history, inviting you to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and explore a woodland wonderland.

Sleeping arrangements are spread across two distinct residences. The Rhododendron Loft is a charming 1,500 sq ft two-level home featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including a cozy loft bedroom. The Island Hideaway is a single-level, 1,500 sq ft home providing 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, complete with a flat, accessible path to the entry. Together, these homes provide a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 beds, accommodating up to 12 guests across 3.5 bathrooms.

Each home is thoughtfully equipped to ensure a premium stay. Guests will find fully-stocked kitchens with cookware and basic condiments, dining tables that seat up to 6 (with extensions), dedicated workspaces for those working from home, and high-quality bedding. For added comfort, both homes include onsite washers and dryers with detergent, streaming services, and cozy wood-burning stoves with complimentary firewood. Exclusive access to the property allows you to wander the Cedar Path through groves of cedars, hemlocks, and firs. Depending on the season, you can enjoy blooming rhododendrons in the spring, fresh raspberries and apples in the summer and fall, or a magical snow-covered retreat in the winter.

Located in the heart of the reserve, you are completely secluded yet only 5 minutes from historic waterfront shops and dining, and 15 minutes from city conveniences. Guests may even spot F-18s overhead from the nearby naval station.

• Check-in: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Pets: Well-trained pets are welcome with a fee (refer to invoice). Pets must stay off all furniture, linens, and beds, and must never be left unattended.
• House Rules: Strictly no smoking or vaping inside or out. No parties or events. Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM. No shoes indoors. Violations are subject to a $500 fine.
• Additional Notes: Cell service is spotty, but the fastest island WiFi is available. Please be aware that aircraft noise from NAS Whidbey Island may occur periodically.
