About Property

Discover the ultimate North Carolina mountain retreat at Riverside Escape, a serene sanctuary nestled directly on the banks of the New River in Grassy Creek. Whether you are planning a relaxing weekend getaway, an outdoor adventure with family, or a focused workcation, this getaway offers a perfect blend of comfort and nature.

Designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, the home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements include a cozy queen-size bed in the master bedroom, a twin bed with a trundle on the main level—ideal for children—and two twin beds located in the open upper loft. The main level is served by a full bath featuring a newly tiled shower, while the upper loft includes a convenient half-bath.

The interior is defined by a scenic living area with soaring vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light and offer sweeping river views. Guests can unwind on a plush leather sofa by the warm gas fireplace or stay connected with fast Wi-Fi and a 50" Smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher, with a six-person dining table overlooking the water. For those working remotely, the bright loft provides a dedicated workspace with a magnificent view of the river.

Outdoor living is where this property truly shines. Step onto the oversized deck to enjoy an outdoor sound system, a charcoal grill, and dining options. Direct water access allows you to cast a line for mountain trout from your private shoreline or relax in the hammock and watch tubers and kayakers drift by. For evening entertainment, gather around the firepit for s'mores or challenge your group to a game of cornhole on the lawn.

Located in the heart of nature, the property is a 28-minute drive to Grayson Highlands State Park and 47 minutes from Stone Mountain State Park. Winter enthusiasts will find Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, and Beech Mtn within a short drive.
