Note for our guests: We provide, Kitchen essentials for cooking, baking, and serving. Trash bags, and a few other basics. 2 rolls of paper towel provided to get you started. 2 Rolls of Toilet Paper per bathroom and this home features 6 bathrooms. Basic spices and cooking oils. Keurig and Drip coffee maker. A welcome stash of K-Cups for the Keurig (because coffee = vacation fuel) to get you started. Hand Soap, dish soap, handful of dishwasher pods, and laundry detergent. Shampoo, Conditioner, body wash, Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. Some beach towels.

Booking Policy

Peak Season Booking Policy: Saturday to Saturday, 7-night minimum for June, July, and August.

Off-Season stays: 3-night minimum. Contact property manager for details.

Damage Deposit: $500 credit-card hold placed 2 days after check-in and released within 7 days after check-out.

Hot Tub available June through mid-October.

General Rules

1. Check-In starts at 4:00 pm and Check-Out is by 10:00 am.

2. Quiet Hours: 10 pm – 7 am.

3. The person who makes the booking must be at least 25 years old and must be part of the guest party occupying the home for the entire stay.

4. No events.

5. No smoking.

6. No pets.

7. No fireworks, firecrackers, or water balloons.

8. Bonfires: Fires permitted only in the designated fire pit. No fires on the beach.

9. Please use the outdoor hose to rinse sand off before entering the house or using the hot tub.

10. Property Care: Guests must maintain the property’s cleanliness and report any damages or issues promptly.

11. Parking: Garage and paved driveway only. No parking on the lawn, in the woods, or on Red Apple Road.

12. Trash Disposal: Pickup is early Thursday morning. Property Manager takes bins to the road on Wednesday.

13. Recycling: There is no local recycling service, but the owners are committed to recycling. Rinse cans, cartons, and plastic containers and place them in the trash can labeled “recycling” in the garage. Cardboard goes in the receptacle marked “cardboard.” Property Manager will handle removal.

14. Amenities Use: Amenities include a hot tub, fireplace, and grill. Specific rules are in the Welcome Book. Guests are responsible for following them and may be charged for misuse.

15. Kayaks: Adult use only and must remain close to the shoreline. Life jackets required. Use at your own risk. More instructions are in the Guest Book.

16. Maximum Occupancy: Per Filer Township regulations, a maximum of ten (10) guests may occupy the rental. Preschool-aged children are exempt.

17. No illegal activities of any kind.

18. Children must be supervised on the overlook deck and beach stairs.

19. Respect for Neighbors: Be considerate of neighboring properties and maintain privacy.

20. Wi-Fi Use: Wi-Fi may not be used for illegal activities.

21. Fish Cleaning: Cleaning fish on the property is prohibited. Please use local fish-cleaning stations at beaches or marinas. Do not use cloth towels for anything fish-related, and do not wash fish-smelling items in the home’s washer or dryer. A laundromat is available in town on 1st Street.

22. Cryptocurrency Mining: Strictly prohibited. Guests may not use the property’s internet or electrical systems for mining or related high-power data processing (including Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.). Violations may result in immediate termination of the reservation.

23. Data Collection or Media Use: No data scraping, research, content collection, or unauthorized photography/filming for business purposes.

Hot Tub Use Instructions

Welcome to your relaxing getaway! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please follow these important guidelines:

Before You Soak • Shower before use to help keep the water clean and balanced. A hose and sprayer are provided for sandy feet. • Do not use oils, lotions, or soaps in the tub. • Water temperature is preset between 98–102°F. The Property Manager will show you how to adjust the temperature when greeting you at the property.

While in the Hot Tub • Maximum occupancy: 8 people. • Limit soak time to 15–20 minutes. • No diving or jumping. • No food or beverages in or near the hot tub. Violations (including spills, food residue, or glassware) may result in a $250 fee. • Children under 12 must be supervised. • Do not add chemicals. Maintenance is performed twice weekly.

After Use • Turn off jets if not automatic. • Replace and secure the cover after each use. • Dry off before entering the house.

Safety Reminders • Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or if you have a health condition. • Alcohol use is discouraged while using the spa. • Do not use during thunderstorms or if you notice any malfunctions.
