Discover the ultimate group getaway at the Stone Minerva Estate, a stunning dual-property retreat in Reno, Nevada. Composed of two distinct homes—the historic Stone House and the contemporary Minerva House—this expansive estate offers a unique blend of vintage charm and modern luxury, making it perfect for large families or multi-generational groups who desire both togetherness and privacy.
The estate features a total of 9 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests. For larger parties, the property can sleep up to 23 guests. The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully divided between the two homes: The Stone House provides five bedrooms with a mix of queen, full, and twin beds, while the Minerva House offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms, including several with two full beds and en-suite bathrooms.
Step back in time in the Stone House, built in 1925 and designed by prolific architect Frederic Joseph DeLongchamps. This cottage-style gem features one-of-a-kind stonework and original exposed beams extracted from the Virginia City silver mines. Guests can relax in the inviting living room by the stone fireplace or gather in the elegant dining room. The remodeled kitchen is bright and open, equipped with brand-new appliances. Outside, the fenced backyard is a fairy tale setting with a horseshoe pit, firepit, pergola, and custom farm table.
In contrast, the Minerva House is a brand-new contemporary home with designer touches and an abundance of light. Each bedroom here provides access to a large wrap-around deck, perfect for viewing spectacular city and mountain vistas. The space includes a high-end kitchen and a living room featuring a large 75" TV for winding down.
Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, the estate provides easy access to downtown Reno, the University of Nevada, and the beautiful Whitaker Park. You are just minutes away from casinos, museums, hiking trails, and major freeways leading to Lake Tahoe and Virginia City.
