This expansive home is configured with 5 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 3 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests. The interior is designed for gathering, featuring large picture windows that flood the space with natural light and a living room centered around a beautiful rock fireplace. For those who love to cook, the fully equipped gourmet kitchen is a standout, boasting an 8-burner Wolf range, double ovens, two dishwashers, and a large island for meal preparation. Additional living space includes a downstairs family room equipped with a TV and DVD player.

Step outside onto the spacious deck to take in sweeping views of the meadow and the wild, scenic south fork of the Merced River. This outdoor oasis is complete with a hammock, lounge chairs, picnic tables, and a gas BBQ, making it ideal for al fresco dining. The lodge is situated at the end of the road for maximum quiet and is just steps away from several great swimming holes.

Located in the charming and historic community of Wawona, just inside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, River Lodge serves as a wonderful home base. You are perfectly positioned to explore the park's world-famous landmarks:

• 5 minutes from Chilnualna Falls, Swinging Bridge, and the Merced River
• 15 minutes from the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias
• 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley, including Half Dome and Yosemite Falls
• 50 minutes from Glacier Point

Practical Information:

• Check-in: 4:00 PM (Pick up keys at the office at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd, Wawona, CA)
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• House Rules: No pets allowed. Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced per County of Mariposa permits.
• Rentals: Highchairs and cribs are available for $20.00 per item per reservation (paid directly to The Redwoods in Yosemite).
• Winter Travel: Tire chains are required from November to April; please check Caltrans for current restrictions on HWY 41.
