About Property

Escape to the serene beauty of the High Country at Little Elk Lodge, a charming log cabin tucked away in a quiet, secluded area of Elk Park, North Carolina. This authentic mountain retreat offers the perfect blend of rustic character and modern comfort for your next getaway.

The lodge is thoughtfully designed with an authentic mountain cabin atmosphere, featuring high vaulted ceilings, warm wood floors, and tongue-and-groove woodwork throughout. The main floor invites you to relax in a living room anchored by a stacked-stone gas fireplace, adjacent to a kitchen finished with granite countertops. Step outside onto the spacious deck to take in seasonal mountain views. Sleeping arrangements are spread across two levels: the main floor hosts a master bedroom with a queen bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, you will find a second bedroom with a double bed and a full bathroom. For additional guests, the loft area provides a sofa that converts into a double-size pull-out bed, allowing the home to accommodate up to 6 guests. A lower-level play area featuring a basketball hoop game is also available, though please note this specific level is not heated or air-conditioned.

While the lodge is a secluded sanctuary, you are never far from adventure. Banner Elk is just 20 minutes away, offering local favorites, restaurants, and grocery stores. Outdoor enthusiasts will love being 25 minutes from Elk River Falls and 30 minutes from Sugar Mountain's year-round skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and mountain biking. Within a 40-minute drive, you can explore the majesty of Grandfather Mountain, Beech Mountain, Linville Falls, and the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway.
