PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING: Please note that our house is NOT child-friendly due to potential safety hazards including an 8-foot deep pool, hot tub, and no lifeguard on premises. We do not have safety gates and have an unfenced pool. We do not have all of the necessary safety features for children at our home. We also require all renters to be age 25+. We require Renter to provide a copy of their Driver's License or Passport upon confirmation of rental.
RENTAL AGREEMENT and IDENTITY VERIFICATION: We have a Rental Agreement, which will be emailed to you upon confirmation of your reservation. We require all guests to sign our Rental Agreement. We also require identity verification from our guests and require a copy of your drivers license or passport upon booking. If any of the terms noted below are not agreeable to you, please do not book our property. The terms of the Rental Agreement are as follows.
Same day check-ins will be at 7pm, unless the property is available sooner.
10 guests maximum; $150 fee assessed per unauthorized person per night, and you may be asked to leave with no refund. No parties allowed.
Quiet hours are 10pm – 9am to comply with the City of Scottsdale noise ordinance. Violations will be subject to immediate eviction, and fines may be assessed.
Renter assumes all risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities, including the use of any swimming pool and/or hot tub on the Property, and will hold Owner harmless with respect thereto.
We have a No Smoking Inside Policy.
Our home is smoke-free. We provide a designated outdoor area for you to smoke if desired. This includes smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vapes, etc. No illegal substances of any kind are allowed on property. Cleaning fee of $1000 will be charged to remediate any smoke smell inside the home, as well as an additional $250 cleaning fee if we have to clean up your smoking products around the property.
We have a NO PETS ALLOWED policy. This is due to the Owners having severe allergies to animals. If there are any violations of this policy, and/or Renter brings a service animal with them, there will be an additional $500 cleaning fee assessed so that pet hair and dander can properly be removed and remediated.
No candles or open flames allowed for safety reasons. No glitter or confetti. Violations will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $250 for cleanup and removal.
Renter's use of the Property is on a temporary, short-term, and transient basis only. The Property is not, and will not be, the Renter's, or any guest's, permanent residence.
No tamper of electronic devices. Violations subject to $500 fine and/or immediate removal from property with no refunds.
We offer high-speed internet. However, if there is an outage beyond our control, no refunds or rate adjustments will be made.
Use of the pool and/or hot tub are at Renter’s own risk. Pool heating is available upon request (for reservations beginning February 15, 2025) and we charge $100 per night for each night rented to heat the pool. No glass permitted at or near pool and/or hot tub. Violations will incur a $1000 fee for the purpose of remediating such glass out of the pool and/or hot tub.
Fee to return items left behind is $25 plus cost of shipping (if applicable).
We do not offer refunds for pests. Because our home is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is a desert-area, we cannot guarantee that the home will be completely pest-free. Occasionally, you may see creatures such as scorpions, spiders, etc., which are a part of our environment and we are unable to completely prevent them from occasionally visiting the home.
We do not provide refunds for weather / natural disasters / road conditions / power outages / acts of God / other things that are beyond our control and may prevent you from arriving on time or staying at our home. We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance for this purpose.
Essential Maintenance - Weekly pool and hot tub cleaning is essential in order to maintain a clean and balanced pool and hot tub. Weekly service is generally performed on Thursdays by a professional pool cleaning company. Yard care is performed on a monthly basis and we will do our best to notify you in advance. Nothing is needed from guests, this is just to serve as notice of these services potentially visiting the property during your stay.
