OCCUPANCY RESTRICTIONS: Guest is responsible for insuring that the number of occupants at no time exceeds the advertised maximum sleeping capacity of the property as stated in the property description. Furthermore, no one under the age of twenty-five (25) may rent or occupy the property as Guest or without adult supervision a ratio of four (4) young adults to one (1) adult over the age of 25. A parent or guardian must be staying in the property at all times.Violation is cause for eviction without refund of any kind, and will result in liability for any and all damages that have resulted due to this infraction.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed inside any of our units. Smoking is not allowed outside in garages, balconies or driveways. Smoking within the property, or not properly securing the unit while smoking outside, and causing the property to smell of smoke, or not properly disposing of cigarette butts and ashes will result in a $1,000 fine.
PET POLICIES: Pets are not allowed in any Coastal Dreamin unit with the exception of “Salty Days” (Fees Apply).
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense or in violation to the terms and conditions of the agreement will be subject to forfeiture of advance deposit and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
GOLF CARTS AND BIKES: Golf carts and bicycles that are offered as part of the rental property at no extra charge are considered ancillary products. These items are serviced and maintained on a regular basis and should be in working condition upon arrival. In the unforeseen event that one of these items needs repair during your stay, every effort will be made to repair the item in a timely manner; however, no refund of any kind will be issued as a result of loss of use. Any violations to the stated policies will result in fines and fees to the cards on file greater than or equal to the total rental amount to be determined by Coastal Dreamin.
COASTAL DREAMIN BICYCLE RENTAL AGREEMENT AND POLICIES
(IF BIKES ARE PROVIDED)
Bicycles are rented out clean and in proper working condition and must be returned in the same manner.
Bikes are maintained on a regular basis. It is the responsibility of the client to check the bike at the store BEFORE setting out on any ride.
Customer agrees to return the bike in clean, UNDAMAGED condition to avoid any ADDITIONAL charges for repair, maintenance or replacement. Customer accepts use of the equipment, AS IS, in good condition and accepts full responsibility for care of the equipment while under his/her possession. Damaged parts or components will be repaired/replaced at the shops discretion and customer agrees to pay regular shop rates and retail prices for components replaced. Clean condition means normal wear and tear is accepted but does not include broken spokes, rims, bent rims, damaged frames, handlebars, seats or other parts from misuse and/or crashes.
Note: All bikes should be returned clean of mud and debris. Any bike not returned clean will be assessed a $50 additional fee.
COASTAL DREAMIN BINDING GOLF CART AGREEMENT
(IF A GOLF CART IS PROVIDED)
In consideration for the rental of the golf cart, Guests agree to the following conditions. In the event that I violate any of the following conditions, I agree and understand that further use of the golf cart may be revoked immediately and without notice:
- Promise to return the golf cart to the location provided immediately upon completion of the rental period in as good condition as I received the same, normal wear and tear accepted. I will operate the golf cart safely and responsibly, and I will preserve and protect the golf cart from loss or damage to the cart itself, my person or property, and the persons or property of others. I agree and understand failure to comply with the terms of this agreement will result in a forfeiture of my rental fees and deposit. I agree to be legally and financially liable for all costs of repairs to the golf cart and for the loss, damage and/or injuries to my person or property and the persons or property of others regardless of fault. I agree to reimburse the golf cart owner for such unrecovered costs, including but not limited to deductibles and any uninsured losses.
- Agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Coastal Dreamin’, for any and all damages and claims of any nature whatsoever that may arise from the use of said golf cart during the time of the rental period, including but not limited to claims for damages to the golf cart itself, my person and property and the persons and property of others.
- Agree to become familiar with the operation and use of said golf cart and any other instructions provided to me regarding the cart, and to operate the golf cart in accordance with said instructions. I agree to contact Coastal Dreamin’ if I have any questions or concerns about operating the golf cart or if my guest or I have caused any damage to the golf cart or others through the use of the golf cart. I agree to examine and inspect the safety and mechanical condition of the golf cart, reporting any concerns or problems before driving the vehicle.
- Understand that a golf cart is subject to the same laws and regulations pertaining to motor vehicles and therefore agree that the golf cart will be operated in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and the local laws of Walton County, including but not limited to the requirement that persons driving the golf cart must not be under the influence of alcohol and/or illegal drugs. I further agree that I personally will be responsible for all moving and/or parking violations issued to said cart while it is in my possession, under my control, or at any time during the condominium/house rental period. I agree that I will not operate the golf cart in the surf or allow salt water to come in contact of mechanical or electrical components.
- Agree that only persons who are 21 years or older, possess a valid driver’s license and insurance as required by law shall be permitted to drive the golf cart. I further agree not to exceed the maximum occupancy of the golf, including children.
6. Agree the privilege of using the golf cart can be revoked without notice by Coastal Dreamin’ in their sole discretion, for any violation of this agreement. I further agree I shall not be entitled any rental refund or deposit for such revocation of privilege.
- Understand that if the golf cart should become inoperable through no fault of mine, Coastal Dreamin will take reasonable steps to have the vehicle repaired.
PARKING: Parking restrictions must be observed at all times and parking is permitted in designated areas only.
QUIET ENJOYMENT: Local county ordinances prohibit unreasonable disturbance of others. Decibel levels are not to exceed fifty (50) decibels at any time between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. Violation and breach of the peace includes music heard on the outside of the property with windows and doors secured. Unregistered guests of the property are required to depart no later than 11:30 P.M.
CONDITIONS OF PREMISES: Upon departure the premises must be left in the order in which it was entered. This includes removal of perishable items, and placement of garbage in designated areas. All dirty dishes, glassware and flatware should me placed in dishwasher and the cycle started. Windows and doors should be secured, and thermostats should be adjusted according to the season. 78º in warmer months and 67º in the cooler times of the year.
ADDITIONAL THINGS TO CONSIDER DURING SPRING BREAK
Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without an accompanying adult couple staying in the unit at ALL times. Violation is cause for eviction without refund of any kind, and will result in liability for any and all damages that have resulted due to this infraction.
Any violators will be evicted according to the attached contract with forfeiture of all monies. No rental property may be sublet without written permission from Coastal Dreamin’. Your reservation is not transferable to another party without written or emailed permission & acknowledged in writing from Coastal Dreamin’ and all parties may be asked to present valid Identification.
Parents, and/or adults over the age of 25, are not allowed to check-in and then leave the property to under-aged guest(s); they must stay at the property throughout the duration of the reserved stay dates.
Any group whose behavior creates a disruption or interferes with their neighbor’s reasonable peaceful enjoyment of their property will be subject to eviction and no refund of any kind will be made. Reservations made during Spring Break must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the check in date. Coastal Dreamin’ reserves the right to inspect any property with or without notice to the guest.
