House Rules – Serenity Cottage Thank you for choosing Serenity Cottage for your stay! Our goal is to provide a relaxing and enjoyable 5-star experience. General House Rules Dogs permitted with approval (see Pet Policy below) No smoking or vaping in or around the property No parties or events Please be courteous of neighbors at all times Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM No trailers or boats allowed Do not park on the street or block neighbors’ driveways or walkways Pet Policy (Dogs Only) Dogs only — no cats or other animals permitted Maximum weight: 50 lbs per dog No aggressive breeds allowed A non-refundable pet fee is required Pets must not be left outside unattended Dogs must not be tethered or tied up when unattended Please pick up after your dog at all times Dogs are not allowed on furniture Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused by their pet Respecting the Home Please do not eat or drink on couches or beds Do not hang wet towels or clothing on balconies or railings Makeup towels are provided — please do not use white towels for makeup removal Only flush toilet paper (no wipes or other items) Do not leave doors or windows open while the AC is running Please do not attempt to use the sliding doors at the front Do not set the thermostat below 64°F Hot Tub Rules Use at your own risk No glass in or around the hot tub Children must be supervised at all times Please rinse off before entering to help keep the water clean Do not adjust settings or tamper with equipment Keep the cover on when not in use No food or drinks in the hot tub Do not enter with sand, oils, or lotions on your body Excessive dirt, sand, or misuse resulting in additional cleaning or service may result in extra charges Beach Access & Etiquette Help us protect our beautiful environment: No glass containers on the beach Please do not walk on sand dunes Fill in any holes dug in the sand before leaving Remove all trash when leaving the beach Do not disturb sea turtle nesting areas No flashlights on the beach at night unless equipped with an amber cover Emergencies & Contact Information In an emergency, call 911 immediately, then notify us as soon as possible For non-emergency needs, please message us through your booking platform After-hours messages may be returned the following morning Thank you for helping us care for Serenity Cottage and for being respectful of the home, community, and beautiful coastal environment. Important Information: Pets are permitted with prior approval and a Non-Refundable Pet fee. We utilize a third-party concierge service that integrates directly with your booking channel to handle concierge services, rental agreements, and damage waivers. There is the option to choose between a small damage waiver or a hold on your credit card for damages. You will be asked for this information once your reservation is officially confirmed. Guest will also be required to sign a rental agreement prior to check in. Failure to provide the required information prior to check-in may result in reservation cancellation without refund.
