Designed for nature lovers, this home blends elegance and natural beauty, featuring dramatic windows rising 23 feet tall that invite the outdoors inside and a spacious deck where it is not uncommon to spot deer in the morning.
This unique getaway is designed for shared moments and relaxation. The layout features an open-concept sleeping arrangement rather than enclosed bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. Sleeping arrangements include a king bed located in the open loft and two queen Murphy beds that fold down in the main living area. The home includes 1 bathroom (with a total of 1.5 baths as detailed in the interior layout).
Inside, you will find a cozy atmosphere anchored by a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cooler days. The home is equipped with a full kitchen, a Keurig coffee station stocked with tea and sugar, a Smart TV, a DVD player, and various board games for evening entertainment. For your convenience, a washer and dryer are also available on-site.
Outdoor living is at the heart of the Purple House experience. Your reservation includes a private fire pit and cornhole area for relaxed evenings. Beyond your private space, you have shared access to the vast KOHOE property, which offers 2.3 miles of river frontage, forest trails, catch-and-release ponds, a volleyball net, and basketball and tennis courts.
Located in a peaceful wooded setting, the property is a gateway to regional attractions. You are just 5 minutes from Four Winds Casino and local breweries and wineries, and about 18 minutes from Hagar Beach and Jolly Orchards. The charming Lake Michigan beach towns of St. Joseph and South Haven are a short 30-minute drive away, offering boutique shopping and gorgeous beaches.

- Note: WiFi can be slower due to the wooded location. The grounds feature uneven terrain and unpaved areas. As this is a shared property with other unique rentals, full seclusion should not be expected, and a neighboring campground may be audible during busy periods.
