About Property

Escape to Holiday Haus, a generously sized vacation home nestled along the Shotgun Trail in Ironwood Township, Michigan, designed perfectly for large groups or multiple families. This well-appointed retreat serves as an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts seeking both relaxation and adventure in the heart of the Northwoods.

The home is thoughtfully arranged across three levels to ensure comfort and privacy. The sleeping arrangements include four bedrooms and three bathrooms: on the lower level, you will find one bedroom with two bunk beds; the main level hosts two bedrooms, each featuring a queen bed and a single bed; and the upper level provides a private fourth bedroom with a queen bed. This configuration comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests.

Inside, the main level is defined by soaring ceilings and large windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding woods and Shotgun Trail, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. This space includes an expansive kitchen, a dedicated dining area, and a cozy living room anchored by a large gas brick fireplace. Patio doors lead to a back deck equipped with a gas grill, perfect for outdoor meals after a day on the slopes.

For entertainment and recovery, the lower level offers a spacious recreation room complete with a foosball table and a full futon. Guests can unwind in the sauna or enjoy the newly added outdoor hot tub (Winter 2026). A washer and dryer are also located on this level for added convenience.

Location is everything at Holiday Haus. In winter, you are just steps from Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort and only a few miles from Snow River for skiing and snowboarding. The property provides direct access to Lifts #8 and #9 via the Shotgun Trail, as well as hundreds of miles of scenic snowmobile trails. When the snow melts, the beauty of the Northwoods opens up for hiking, biking, fishing, and visiting local waterfalls.
