Escape to the peaceful surroundings of Moravia, Iowa, and discover the serene Quail Run Cabin. This handicap accessible retreat offers a great view that overlooks a large stocked pond and an expansive field, providing guests with a front-row seat to an abundance of local wildlife.

Designed for comfort and accessibility, the cabin features one bedroom and one bathroom. The sleeping arrangements are versatile, consisting of two twin beds in the bedroom and a full-size sofa sleeper, allowing the space to accommodate up to four guests. For added accessibility, the bathroom is equipped with a shower featuring a rail seat.

For those traveling with four-legged companions, this cabin is dog only friendly. Guests may choose to rent Quail Run by itself or alongside the adjoining Pheasant Cabin. While the two units are adjacent, please note that access between them is only available from the outside.

Located in the heart of nature, the cabin is a gateway to the magnificent Rathbun Lake area. As the second largest lake in Iowa, Rathbun is surrounded by preserved prairies, wetlands, and forested lands where bald eagles, songbirds, and white-tailed deer are frequently spotted. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy over 11,000 acres of exploration, including eight parks, two marinas, boat ramps, and campgrounds. Nearby attractions include the Honey Creek Resort, Water Park and Golf Course, as well as the original Honey Creek State Park. For a touch of local history, explore the historic shops and downtown districts in Centerville, Albia, and Bloomfield, or visit the Mormon Trail.

To ensure a seamless arrival, guests will receive a 4-digit key code via text message a few days prior to check-in. Upon arrival, simply proceed directly to the cabin and use your code for entry. Please note that while there is an on-site office, it is reserved for the cleaning crew and is not used for check-in.
