Discover the perfect getaway at Walleye, one of our most popular smaller cabins located in the heart of Moravia, Iowa. This inviting retreat is designed to fit the needs of many, making it an ideal choice for a smaller group of sportsmen or a young family of five looking for a cozy home base during their adventures.

The cabin is thoughtfully configured to maximize space and comfort. It features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, with a total guest capacity of 5. The sleeping arrangements include a bunk bed in the bedroom—featuring two full-sized beds—and a comfortable futon bed located in the living space. The bathroom is equipped with a convenient tub/shower combo to ensure a relaxing end to your day.

Despite its cozy size, Walleye is fully equipped for your stay, featuring a full kitchen and full bath to provide all the essential comforts of home.

Situated in a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, the cabin puts you in the prime location to experience Rathbun Lake. As Iowa's second-largest lake, Rathbun is a sprawling destination of over 11,000 acres nestled among preserved prairies, wetlands, and forested lands. Nature lovers will appreciate the prevalence of white-tailed deer, songbirds, and bald eagles in the area. Guests can take advantage of nearby boat ramps, campgrounds, picnic areas, and the Visitors Center. For those interested in local wildlife management, the Rathbun Fish Hatchery welcomes visitors year-round. Beyond the water, you can explore the Honey Creek Resort and Water Park, the trails of Honey Creek State Park, or the historic downtown districts and shops in Albia, Bloomfield, and Centerville, as well as the Mormon Trail.

To ensure a seamless arrival, please note that the on-site office is reserved for the cleaning crew and is not used for check-ins. A few days prior to your stay, a text message will be sent to the phone number on your reservation containing a 4-digit key code. Upon arrival, please proceed directly to the cabin labeled 'Walleye' and use your code for entry.
