-Booking guest is required to sign a Rental Agreement and schedule a Security Deposit HOLD of $300. A Booking Clean-Up Form link will be sent to the booking guest to complete these steps.
-All additional guests must be reported by providing the first names and ages of each additional guest up to 6 total guests.
-Age Limit: Guests looking to book our home must be 25 years old or older. We also do not allow "booking for someone else". The booking guest MUST be the one staying at the home.
-Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Check-In is 4:00PM and check-out is 10:00AM. Please contact us if you would like to request an early check-in or late check-out and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Unapproved late check-outs will incur a fee of $25 per 30-minute increments past the check-out time of 10:00AM. Our cleaners are on tight schedules.
-When checking out of the house:
- Please make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked.
- All lights and electronic devices are turned off.
- Garbage is picked up both inside and outside and placed in the garbage can.
- Towels and robes are picked up and placed in the washing machine.
- If the grill was used, the grill grates have been scrubbed. Cleaning tools are provided.
- Dirty dishes are placed in the kitchen sink or in the dishwasher.
- Be sure to log out of any streaming devices or the gaming system.
- All outdoor games are put away and the outdoor furniture is put back to its original place.
-Heated Pool:
Our pool is a private pool, therefore there are no lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk. For guest convenience, we have supplied child-sized life vests, pool noodles and kick boards. These can be found in the deck box on the pool deck. We DO NOT turn on the heat for the pool between the months of May and September as the weather is warm enough outside that it is not needed and may result in unwanted algae growth beyond the norm. If a guest would like the pool to be heated, advance notice of a minimum of 2 days must be given before check in date, and the fee must be paid prior to check-in. o
The fee for heating the pool is $90 per day, 7:00AM-10:00PM.
Game Room Rules:
- Please DO NOT touch the mural walls. Many hours went into creating these special murals, and we do not want them to get ruined. Use caution when near them.
- Do not slam, swing, toss or throw the controllers or headsets.
- If you log into your account on either of the Playstation or the Xbox, make sure you log out before leaving so someone else does not gain access to your account.
- The TV’s can tilt slightly from side to side, however you must use caution when tilting them so they do not come off the wall.
- Do not throw darts at the board wildly, even though they are plastic, they can still do damage to the walls or murals.
- Be careful with the furniture: no jumping, bouncing or standing on the furniture.
- Food and drinks are allowed in the game room, but you must clean up after yourself. There is a mini-fridge for convenient access to your favorite beverages.
- Place all board games and cards games back in their original containers and please make sure all pieces are accounted for.
- ALL children under the age of 5 years MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Use caution when playing on the cocktail table arcade. We know it’s easy to get excited and carried away, but please be mindful of how you are handling the controls and joystick. This is a VERY expensive machine.
-Quiet Time: 10:00PM until 7:00AM Please be respectful of the neighbors, you are guests in their community. No loud music, so please keep the music to a minimum level.
-No candles or any open flames/fire inside the house. No fireworks.
-If anything is damaged or broken during your stay, you must inform us right away.
-There are 2 locked owner's closets in the house that are inaccessible to guests. The doors will remain locked. Do not tamper with the door or lock.
-Security System: We do have a RING security system, however it is not available for use by guests. The system will be off while guests are staying in the house.
***Failure to adhere to the following policies/house rules in this next section will result in immediate termination of the rental and an additional fee of $500-$1000 depending on the infraction.
-NO PETS-NO EXCEPTIONS!: This is our home as well, and we use it quite frequently, and we have family members who are severely allergic to animals, their fur and dander. So if you are looking for a place to vacation with your pet, then this is NOT the home for you.
NO PARTIES or EVENTS: If you are looking for a house to party in, then keep looking. This will be strongly enforced, and a reservation will be immediately terminated.
-NO SMOKING/ILLEGAL DRUG USE in the house or anywhere on the property. Non-Drug Vaping is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY.
-Guest Maximum is 6 total. NO EXTRA GUESTS. The total number of guests DOES include any children. Once a booking is made, the booking guest will be required to submit the names and ages of each guest who will be staying at the house. Check-in instructions will not be provided until this step is completed.
-No illegal activity or weapons of any kind are permitted on the property.
-Do not remove any items from the property. Inventory is taken after each guest checks out and if we find that items are missing, you will be charged for the missing items.
Additional Information:
-In an effort to keep the floors and area rugs in the house as clean as possible, we ask that you please remove your shoes upon entering the house. For your convenience, a shoe basket is situated next to the bench in the foyer.
-The thermostat is not locked so we ask that guests use discretion when adjusting the thermostat. Do not turn the A/C down below 70 degrees or the unit may freeze up and stop working. Please do not turn the heat up above 72 degrees.
-Make sure to wipe up any spills on the kitchen counter quickly in order to prevent the quartz countertops from being stained. This goes for coffee, wine, and any other colored substance that could cause staining.
-For our guests' convenience, we have supplied individual use condiments such as ketchup, mustard, creamers, sugar, etc. as well as spices and baking ingredients, and snacks. Guests are welcome to use these at any time, HOWEVER it is ultimately up to the guest's discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables or any allergies the guests may have. Additionally, we have also supplied a variety of travel-sized toiletries for those rare occasions where a guest may have forgotten an item.
-By staying in the desert, there are an array of natural creatures such as scorpions, spiders, lizards, bugs, etc. The entire property is under contract with a pest company who comes out regularly to treat the property, however you may see these creatures outside on the property or the occasional dead bug inside (this means the treatments are working).
-Garbage Service: The garbage receptacles are kept on the side of the house, just inside the double gates. It gets picked up every Thursday. A company comes out each week to put the garbage cans out to the curb, and then comes back to put them away.
-There is occasional air traffic from a small private plane airport in Scottsdale.
-Pool Service: The pool gets serviced every week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Even though the pool is serviced and skimmed each week, you may need to do additional skimming due to flowers or foliage ending up in the water. With the wind, inevitably leaves, flower petals, etc. will end up in the pool. A skimmer can be found on the side of the house where the pool equipment is located.
-Landscape Service: We have a landscaping company that comes out two times per month. Unfortunately, these are not set days, but we will notify our guests of their arrival if necessary. Flowers and leaves make their way onto the patio and pool deck. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable, however should there be an excess amount, we may be able send someone to clean up.
