Welcome home to your own slice of paradise in adventurous Rexford, Montana! At Maggie’s Cabin, unspoiled natural beauty and cabin-chic accommodations merge together to create an ideal environment for a family or friend’s getaway, where every turn reveals a new and exciting adventure.

This secluded retreat accommodates up to 7 guests with 2 private bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The sleeping arrangements feature a king size bed in the primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom containing a single vanity and shower/tub combo, and a second bedroom equipped with one queen size bed and one twin size bed. For additional flexibility, a queen size bed is located in the loft area.

Stepping indoors, the log cabin theme is in full effect. You will find soaring vaulted ceilings and open spaces adorned with warm wood trim and accents, creating a cozy environment for connectivity. The living room features a fireplace to keep you toasty during cooler months, while the dining table seats 6 for formal meals or spontaneous game nights. The home also includes a fully equipped kitchen with ample counterspace and cabinetry, and a second living area in the loft perfect for surfing the channels on the TV or taking a quiet afternoon nap.

Outside, the property offers a shaded, wraparound porch with plentiful seating, grilling areas for delicious barbeque meals in the fresh forest air, and a fireside spot for toasting treats under a vast canopy of stars.

Located in the lovely, forested corner of northwest Montana between the Purcell and Salish mountains, Rexford is a recreation lover's paradise. The community is encased by the stunning Kootenai National Forest and sits on the northern banks of the majestic Lake Koocanusa. This sparkling reservoir offers boating, fishing, swimming, and picnicking. Guests can rent a tri-toon at Abayance Bay Marina or utilize the Mariner’s Haven boat launch within a short drive. Nearby Eureka provides shopping and dining, while the 67-mile Lake Koocanusa Scenic Byway is open year-round. The area is also ideal for hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, and rock climbing at Stone Hill.
