About Property

Discover your ultimate mountain escape at Switzerland Ski Chalet, a freshly remodeled basecamp retreat in Big Bear Lake, California. Designed with your vacation in mind, this cozy and comfortable chalet blends modern upgrades with cozy mountain essentials and great natural lighting through big open windows, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway any time of the year.

This sprawling two-level home is configured with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully distributed across the second level, featuring a guest bunkroom with a Queen bed and Twin/Twin bunks, an open loft sleeping area with a Full bed overlooking the living space, and a massive private suite. This third bedroom is essentially another cabin in itself, boasting a big, oversized King bed, a cozy living space with its own fireplace, and an additional kitchenette and wet bar for entertaining.

The main living area is designed for togetherness, featuring an equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a living room where you can warm your toes in front of the fireplace while snuggling on an oversized plush couch. For added entertainment, guests can enjoy the on-site foosball table.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the property. You can venture to the upper-level sun deck or the lower-level patio area off the living room, both of which provide beautiful ski slope views. The outdoor patio furnishings and relaxing forested yard are perfect for sipping your first cup of coffee in the morning.

Location is where this retreat truly shines. Situated just across the street from the ski lifts and summertime bike park, you can enjoy an unbeatable central location with no hassle from shuttles or parking lines. Walk across the street for resort activities, dining, and tubing, or take a short drive of less than 10 minutes to reach grocery stores, the marina, and the downtown Village shops.
