About Property

Welcome to Lazy Bear Cabin, a beautifully remodeled and cozy retreat in Big Bear Lake, California, where you can hang up your coat and stay awhile. Ideally suited for a family with two kids and a dog, this dog-friendly home combines relaxation with fun, offering a perfect mountain getaway for your next adventure.

The home features a thoughtful layout with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, accommodating a total of 4 guests. The primary suite is a true sanctuary, featuring a California king bed, a private office nook, a 44-inch TV, a walk-in closet, and direct access to the deck. The second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds and its own 44-inch TV, also providing direct deck access. Both bathrooms are designed for comfort and accessibility, boasting walk-in showers with three showerheads and diverter valves for a pleasant temperature, along with safety handrails and grab bars.

Inside, the living area is lined with classic brickwork and offers comfy seating, including an armchair and a sleeper sofa, all centered around a warming gas fireplace and a 55-inch TV. The updated kitchen is a chef's delight with a full suite of stainless-steel appliances, including a gas range/oven and a Viking microwave. The adjacent dining area includes a table that seats up to six and an additional 44-inch TV.

Outdoor living is where Lazy Bear Cabin truly shines. The large new deck is perfect for cookouts with both gas and charcoal grills, a four-person dining table, and shaded seating. As the sun sets, you can soak in the brand-new private hot tub or gather around the fire pit, with solar lights illuminating the patio and deck. The front porch provides seating for five and can be completely gated off for peace of mind. For entertainment, a basketball hoop is located above the driveway, and the garage houses a ping-pong table, a card table for two, and a basketball.

Located in a prime spot, you will find the lake, marina, village, and slopes all close at hand.
