About Property

Discover a relaxing and scenic mountain escape at Scenic Retreat, an adorable single-story cabin located in the heart of Big Bear's central Moonridge neighborhood. Perfectly designed for a small family or a group of friends, this cozy retreat blends mountain lodge character with breathtaking views of the slopes and surrounding peaks.

This 886-square-foot home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 6 guests. The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully laid out for comfort: the primary bedroom features a king bed with direct access to the outdoor deck, while the second bedroom provides two full beds, making it an ideal setup for those traveling with children. A full hallway bathroom serves the entire group.

Inside, the open floor plan creates an inviting atmosphere defined by vaulted pine-beamed cathedral ceilings and a striking floor-to-ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace. Large floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in natural light and provide a front-row seat to the falling snow in winter. The efficiently equipped kitchen includes oak cabinets, a dishwasher, and a custom log dining bar that seats four. For entertainment and convenience, the home includes a large flat-screen TV with cable and a washer and dryer for handling wet snow clothes.

Step outside to the expansive redwood sun deck to enjoy your morning coffee among the birds or fire up the propane BBQ for an evening meal at the picnic table. Nature is truly right outside your back door, providing a peaceful backdrop to your stay.

Located in a prime central location, you are just minutes away from Big Bear's best attractions. Whether you are heading to the slopes for skiing and snowboarding in the winter or exploring hiking and biking trails and Big Bear Lake in the summer, everything is within easy reach. Local shops and restaurants are also just a short trip away.
