Discover the charm of Lakeview Cabin at Shore Acres Lodge, a relaxing rustic retreat offering breathtaking views of Big Bear Lake in beautiful Big Bear Lake, California. Set within a historic two-acre, pine-shaded lakefront property once known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s, this inviting cottage provides the perfect blend of mountain-style privacy and shared community recreation.
This cozy 550-square-foot home is designed for families and small groups, featuring 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom offers a queen bed and a private three-quarter bathroom with a stand-up shower. The second bedroom provides flexible sleeping arrangements with a second queen bed and a full/twin bunk, allowing the cabin to accommodate up to 7 guests comfortably.
While the cabin is a private sanctuary, guests enjoy access to the wonderful shared facilities of the Shore Acres Lodge grounds. Step outside to find direct lake access, a seasonal boat dock, and a dedicated fishing area. During the summer months, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, you can enjoy the community swimming pool on weekends. The spacious grounds are filled with family-friendly activities, including horseshoes, volleyball, outdoor table tennis, a kids' swing set, and a large shared BBQ and picnic area with charcoal grills.
Located in an excellent position, Lakeview Cabin is within walking distance of the local marinas and the shopping and dining of Big Bear Village, making it easy to explore the best of the area before returning to the quiet of the pines.
