For those visiting between late December and February, the private deck serves as a prime spot for winter eagle watching as hundreds of bald eagles gather along the lake and river.

Winter Access Note: The cabin is located approximately ½ mile up a narrow dirt road from Highway 97. During winter weather, especially with snowfall over 6 inches, a capable 4WD vehicle with good ground clearance is strongly recommended. 2WD and low-clearance vehicles may not safely access the property. A 100% refund is available if you cancel up to 24 hours before arrival should forecasted snow exceed 6 inches and make access unsafe.
