Reconnect with nature in comfort at Harrison Serenity Ranch, a peaceful off-grid retreat nestled on 67 acres of breathtaking landscape on Palomar Mountain in Pauma Valley, California. This beautiful wall tent is designed for couples or solo travelers seeking a quiet, scenic escape where nature takes center stage, from the rustling oaks to the distant valley views.
The sleeping arrangements are simple yet restorative, featuring 1 bedroom with 1 cozy queen bed dressed in soft linens and 1 bathroom. The space is thoughtfully arranged to create a calm atmosphere, allowing you to watch the sunlight move across the valley in the morning and unwind under starlit skies as evening falls.
While the property remains off-grid and solar-powered, guests enjoy a unique blend of mountain charm and mindful living. Key features of the ranch include:
Located high on Palomar Mountain, the journey to the ranch is part of the adventure. Guests travel a scenic 5.8-mile dirt road climbing from Highway 76 up Nate Harrison Grade Road. While safe for most passenger vehicles with good brakes and a full tank of gas, this narrow, rural mountain road is not recommended for RVs or trailers over 30 feet.
To maintain the serenity of the land, specific house rules are in place. Pets are welcome to join your getaway. Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. To preserve the orchestra of nature, please keep all music off after 7:00 PM, with formal quiet hours beginning at 9:00 PM. For safety, campfires should be dimmed by 9:30 PM and must be fully extinguished by 11:00 PM using the provided shovel.
Whether you are searching for a romantic getaway, a quiet writing retreat, or a peaceful solo stay, Harrison Serenity Ranch offers the rare gift of space, silence, and total serenity.
