ID: Per our township's laws, guests must provide the full name, address, phone, and email for each adult guest, plus ages of any children and the number and type of pets prior to check-in.

The primary booking guest is responsible for any damage or other problems caused by anyone in the group.

Neighbors: Please be respectful of our neighbors, some of whom have school age children. We ask that you keep noise down after 10pm (campfires and socializing are totally fine, loud music/radios/etc not fine).

Occupancy: Per our local rules, no more than 6 people may sleep here overnight. No more than 10 people may be on the property at any one time.

Parties are not allowed.

Smoking: Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house or on the porch. Please do not leave any cigarette butts on the property. Please extinguish cigarette buts with water and dispose of them in the garbage enclosure without bringing them into the house.

Parking: Parking is permitted in our driveway, which can comfortably accommodate three cars. No parking in the yard or on/alongside the road.

Campfires are permitted except when a Burn Ban (declared when there is high risk of wildfires) is in effect. However, fires must be restricted to the fire pit. Bonfires are not permitted.

Citronella candle buckets are okay to use as long as they are not left unattended. Firewood is not provided, however previous guests may have left some firewood for you. If you have extra at the end of your stay please pay it forward!

Pets: We love dogs! Trained, housebroken, friendly dogs are welcome here on a case by case basis. If you are interested in bringing a pet, message us and tell us about your pet ahead of time. Undisclosed animals are not allowed on the property.

Please don't leave pets alone in the house unless you have specifically discussed it with us; don't let pets wander off the property; and please also make sure to clean up any dog waste in the yard. Sorry, no cats due to allergies. We charge a $30 fee per pet per stay to offset extra pet-related cleaning.

Breaking any of these house rules will incur a $300 charge and you will be asked to leave.

Lastly - a couple important points to be aware of:

Getting here: Little Bear is at the top of a steep hill with a poorly maintained dirt/gravel road. Use caution and drive slowly! In winter the road is not always passable to cars without 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. This is a MUST if you are planning a visit in snowy or icy conditions. Flora & fauna: This is a cabin in the woods, surrounded by critters. Despite regular pest control and our very best efforts, occasionally bugs or other flora/fauna DO work their way inside. You may see insects, spiders, moths, millipedes, etc. We recommend keeping the screen door closed as much as possible to minimize this. We don't give refunds for wildlife sightings.
