Excessive Cleaning – Our cleaning fee is the cleaning company’s charge for cleaning based on our average courteous guests, of which most are. If the cleaning team discovers an unreasonable mess post-check out, there will be an additional $100 charge to compensate for the additional cleaning required.
Breakages & Damage – We expect things to get broken occasionally and rarely charge for (e.g. cups, glasses, etc.). However, please let us know so that we may replace them for our next guests. Quick action on soft furnishings can prevent the need to replace items. There is a magnet on the refrigerator with a helpful stain removal guide in case anything spills on soft furnishings. Please let us know after you pretreat it as we may be able to prevent staining and would at least welcome the chance to replace any damaged items before our next guests (if not immediately). We reserve the right to charge for any significant damage but guarantee to be reasonable about it. Again, the earlier we know, the better as if following guests are affected, we may need to compensate them. Think of it this way - put yourself in the shoes of the next guest. The guest will be charged $50 for each hour that the property is occupied after the agreed check-out time of the lease up to two (2) hours. If the guest holds possession of our property more than two (2) hours, the guest will be charged for an additional day at that day’s current market rate without discounts. This does not award the additional day of stay. Please be courteous of housekeeping staff that need adequate time to prepare for incoming guests. No Smoking – There is no smoking OF ANY KIND anywhere in the house. Violation of the non-smoking rule will be cause for immediate removal of guests with no refund. The guest agrees to restrict any smoking to the outdoors. Please do not put butts in flower pots, in the yard, or (yikes) on our beaches! Violation of the non-smoking rule will be cause for charges upwards of $250 per day of stay to mitigate the damage caused to the property from the smoke and to return the property to safe and acceptable conditions so as not to negatively affect future reservations. Guest will also have immediate termination of the remaining portion of their reservation and no refund will be given either for the remaining stay or the portion of nights already stayed of the reservation. Travel Insurance can be purchased that protects your vacation investment for covered reasons such as travel delays, Illness (including contracting COVID) of a traveler, family member or business partner, natural disasters, injury or death in the family or to someone in the traveling party, etc. . By booking this unit, you have read, understood, and agreed to all these rules. Hot Tub Rules - Shower before entering. This is not just to remove algae from you and your bathing suit, but to remove oils and soaps from them as well. Fabric softeners, hair conditioners and products, lotions and oils will clog the filter and keep the tub from adequately cleaning itself. A special visit from the technician may be required to drain, clean and refill the tub. This process may take up to 24-48 hours and you may incur additional charges for such. Hot Tub Rules - No foreign objects, toys, jewelry, food or bath products. A simple earring or hair tie, if lost could damage the pump and circulation system. Food and other organic material depletes the chemicals needed for bacteria prevention. Bath products, especially lotions, oils and soaps, are not broken down by chemicals. A special visit from the technician may be required to drain, clean and refill the tub. This process may take up to 24-48 hours and you may incur additional charges for such. Hot Tub Rules - No glass ever. We provide acrylic drink ware for the home to help keep the hot tub, pool and our guests safe. If glass breaks in the hot tub, it is nearly invisible and very difficult to clean out. There will be a $250 charge to drain, clean, refill and chemically rebalance the hot tub by a professional if any glass is found broken in the hot tub. Hot Tub Rules - Be careful with the cover. Unlatch and lift off cover carefully to avoid damage to the cover. Never sit or stand on the cover or sides of the tub. The cover has pinch points in the middle. Please be aware of hand placement when removing the cover. Hot Tub Rules - Do not use if you have a medical condition or are ill. Always check with your doctor if you are pregnant, under a doctor's care for any condition. And don't use if you have any open sores, wounds or cuts. The harsh chemicals can cause damage, you could allow bacteria to enter your wound, or if contagious you could sicken others in close proximity to you. Chemicals take time to kill pathogens, and the crowded nature of a hot tub doesn't allow you the time necessary. Hot Tub Rules - Hot tubs are not toys. Please always follow the rules and make sure your entire group know and adheres to the rules as well. Failure to comply with these rules could make the hot tub unusable during your stay. If re-sanitization or repair of hot tub is required due to renter misuse, renter will be charged for the extra pool pro visit, and repairs. Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless InsideOut Properties for any liabilities, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with your use and/or occupancy of the vacation rental and/or it's amenities, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, loss of personal belongings or theft of property which is made, incurred, or sustained by you and/or anyone you invite to use the vacation rental and/or it's amenities as your guest.
