MAX OCCUPANCY
3 guests 2 cars *Under San Bernardino County regulations, only the registered guests may be present on the property at any given time; additional guests (even if visiting for the day) are not allowed.

NOISE ORDINANCE 10:00 pm The San Bernardino County Noise ordinance is in effect at 10:00 pm.

DARK SKIES Outdoor lights, except exit and entry lights, must go off at 11:00 pm. (String lights go off at 11:00 as well)

FIRES The fire pit is wood; please use caution with fires in the area and ensure the fire is never left unattended. The fire pit may not be allowed during high winds, red flag warnings, and severe droughts.

PARTIES/EVENTS Parties, weddings, commercial photography, drones, and events are not allowed at vacation rentals in accordance with county regulations. Items such as balloons or confetti can damage our local wildlife and cannot be used on the premises. If you need recommendations on areas that are photo-safe or that provide event services, please ask your host.

PETS *an additional $30 cleaning fee for up to one ( 1 ) pet under 50 pounds. Larger furry friends are considered, but please ask your host. *Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture for sanitary reasons. DO NOT allow pets to pee/poo inside the home. *Pets must be supervised outside, as coyotes and other wildlife roam the area. *Owners accept full responsibility for their pet's care/safety and may be held liable for any damages or additional cleaning the pets may cause.

NON-SMOKING *We have a strict non-smoking policy inside the property; additional charges of $200 for cleaning will occur should additional time be needed to remove the smell. This includes vaping, pipes, and any other items. *Should you choose to smoke, please do so at least 20 feet away from home and be mindful that the area is subject to severe droughts that could result in quick spreading wildfires.

*EXTENDED STAYS Bookings over 14 days is an additional cleaning fee of $65.00. *For Bookings 30 days or longer, you can contact your host for details.

RECORDING DEVICES We have recording devices on the premises that remain on 24/7 and are used for security, monitoring noise, parking, and occupancy as required by San Bernardino County Regulations. A Ring Camera is located at the front door; This monitoring device is not in a private area.

SNAKES, COYOTES & WILDLIFE *SNAKES. It’s pretty rare, but snakes are in the area; if you see or hear one, stay away and notify us immediately. I will relocate the snake to a safe location. *Coyotes, owls, and other wildlife are in the area; do not leave trash or food outside the home. Coyotes won't harm humans, but a small dog can look like a tasty snack, so keep pets close and on a leash.

WEATHER *At times, the area can experience extreme winds, excessive heat, severe droughts, floods, power outages, and interruptions in wifi. Guests understand these are things we host can not control, and we would like to ask you to take the time to learn about the weather conditions for your stay.

REPAIRS/MAINTENANCE *We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, appliances, TVs/VCRs/DVD Players, stereo equipment, or pools/spas. Guests may report any issues to us, and we will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently.

SPECIAL NEEDS GUESTS *When traveling with individuals who are elderly, have a disability, or have other special needs, please contact us in advance so that we may help with reasonable accommodations at the property for a convenient and accessible stay for all members of the Guest’s party. Please understand that vacation rentals are considered private homes under the law and are not subject to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

DISCLOSURE **In accepting this booking, you and your guests agree to adhere to all house rules and all San Bernadino regulations.

*Guests agree to keep the home in the same condition as upon arrival. Guests will also notify the host should any maintenance issues occur so that the host may address them promptly.

*We reserve the right to cancel your stay without refund and remove you from the premises should the occupancy limit be more than stated if you create a nuisance by holding a party/event or violating any of the above rules. In some cases, violation of occupancy, partying, or excessive noise could result in guests incurring a fine of up to $500 in addition to any damages or reservation fees.

*Guest acknowledges the property is for temporary use of a vacation rental property for a temporary vacation stay.

*Guest accepts responsibility for maintaining the property during occupancy and agrees to replace or repair and pay for any breakage, damage, or loss

Casa Verde, Joshua Tree Destinations, and its affiliates are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings. Guest(s) assume risk and responsibility while on the property.
