Footwear Policy Please remove snow boots and snowboard boots before entering the home. These can damage the floors and track in water and salt. A boot tray is provided near the entrance for your convenience.

Pets at Sunrise J1 We’re happy to welcome well-behaved pets at this property! To keep Sunrise enjoyable for everyone — guests, owners, and furry friends alike — please take a moment to review the community’s pet guidelines: Leash & Control Policy The Sunrise Homeowners Association and the Town of Killington require that all pets remain on a leash and under control at all times when outdoors. This helps ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and residents. Ski Trail Policy For everyone’s safety, pets are not permitted on ski trails during operational hours. Please use walking paths and designated areas only. Waste Disposal All pet waste must be picked up, bagged, and disposed of in designated trash areas. Please do not leave waste bags outside or near walkways — this helps keep the community clean and enjoyable for everyone. Noise & Courtesy Sustained barking or pets left unattended in the unit can disturb other guests. Please make arrangements to ensure your pet is comfortable if you plan to be away.

Smoking, Vaping & Drug Use For the health, comfort, and safety of all guests, please note the following: Smoking of any kind — including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, or marijuana — is not permitted inside the home. Vaping and e-cigarette use are also prohibited indoors. Illegal drug use is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property. If evidence of smoking or vaping is found inside, a $250 specialized cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file. In the event of illegal drug use, law enforcement will be notified.

Wildlife Note

This home is in an area where you may see wildlife such as bears, deer, and smaller animals. Do not leave food, trash, pet food, or coolers outside or in vehicles. Keep doors, windows, and vehicle windows closed when unattended. Never approach, feed, or try to interact with wildlife. These steps help protect both guests and animals and reduce the risk of property damage.

Storm Policy / Road Conditions No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep, so we strongly recommend all-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, or snow tires. Even after the driveway has been plowed, it may remain slippery. Gravel drives are well maintained, but we do not issue refunds due to road conditions. Departures caused by inclement weather do not warrant a refund of rent or deposit. We do not offer refunds for snow or heavy rainstorms.

Winter Shoveling Reminder

To help us keep decks and walkways safe and accessible, we kindly ask guests to:

Clear personal items from the deck/entry area before a snow event. Make sure access to your deck or entry is not blocked when snow crews are working. Be aware that snow crews follow a strict schedule and cannot always return the same day. Thank you for your cooperation!

Third-Party Bookings If you reserved through a third-party platform such as Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking, their platform rules and fees also apply. All GetAway policies remain in effect regardless of where you booked.

Before You Depart Please take a few minutes to help us get the home ready for the next guests: Thermostats (September–April): Turn all down to 55°F. Trash: Remove and dispose of it in the designated dumpsters near the parking lot. Windows & Lights: Make sure all windows and doors are closed, and turn off every light. Dishes: Load used dishes into the dishwasher, add detergent, and start the cycle. (Please confirm it’s running before you leave.)
