Exhibitions of traditional handicrafts and clothing give insight into lifestyles of different peoples. Apart from regular performances by folk artists, famous music stars also entertain visitors.

Heritage and Diving Village offers an inside view of Arabic culture and history. Learn about Arabic custom through re-creations of Bedouin villages, and various events and activities. Performances often include customs from Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan, Mauritania, Algeria, and UAE. In the past, poetry conventions, boat-building demonstrations, auctions of ancient coins, a series of photography exhibitions, and showcases of Arabian horses, falconry, and vintage cars were a hit with crowds. During the Dubai Shopping Festival, fireworks displays light up the sky above Heritage Village.
