Thailand is a land of beaches. White sand and crystal clear water made them famous all over the globe. From the tropical paradise of a bungalow on Ko Samet off the coast of Rayong province, near Bangkok, to the luxurious resort developments on Phuket Island, just a short flight from Bangkok, you can have the best vacation of your life. More remote venues, such as the lovely and unspoiled Ko Ngai in the Andaman off the coast of Trang, make it possible to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life without spending a fortune.

Most visitors choose to come after October and before April.

Pattaya Beach
Pattaya is on the eastern coast of   the Gulf of Thailand. Sand, sun and fun make this beach one of the most popular destinations for visitors. The ideal destination for those seeking non-stop entertainment is Pattaya that offers every imaginable form of water sports, plentiful and affordable golf courses, including some designed by the most famous names in the game, and stimulating nightlife.

Hua Hin Beach
Hua Hin Beach lies approximately 185 km     southwest of Bangkok. It is recognized as Thailand's most traditional beach resort. Hua Hin is a well-established beach destination, with full facilities for the tourist. Unlike Pattaya on the other side of the Gulf of Thailand, Hua Hin provides a quieter, more relaxed environment, with a typically Thai ambience. Hua Hin is ideal for families or for those who wish to simply escape the bustle and heat of Bangkok.

Hat Bang Saen
Thai tourists looking for a relaxing day on    the sand visit Bang Saen Beach, 100 km southeast of Bangkok and about 10 km from the provincial capital of Chonburi, mostly on weekends. Eclipsed in recent decades by Pattaya, it was once the favorite getaway for Bangkok's elite. Tall coconut palms shade the path that borders the long curving sweep of the beach.

Jomtien Beach
A six km long stretch of beach facing        southeast into the Gulf of Thailand makes Hat Jomtien popular with windsurfers and water sports enthusiasts who appreciate its un-crowded waves and refreshing light winds. Jomtien beach is a heaven of peaceful enjoyment of the seashore.

Ko Samet
An  island with sensational beaches, Ko       Samet has experienced rapid development despite being part of a national park. Thailand's most famous poet was inspired to write his masterpiece by the serene beauty of the island.

Hat Puek Tien
Hat Puek Tien has been developed as a tourist attraction since 1982. The charm of this broad casuarinas-lined white beach has attracted many visitors. Of particular interest are the beach's cast sculptures of characters from Phra Apai Manee, a story penned by Thailand's greatest poet, Sunthornphu. The sculptures can be found on a man-made hill, 100 meters offshore, built to stem coastal erosion in the area.

Nai Han Beach
South of Kata Noi and north of Phrom Thep cape, Nai Han is not Phuket's longest beach, but it borders the most gorgeous lagoon on the island. The middle of the beach is dominated by the Samnak Song Nai Han monastery, which has obstructed excessive development and is the reason that the beach is generally less crowded than other spots on the southern part of the island.

Patong
Patong is Phuket's most developed beach offering virtually every kind of entertainment imaginable. Exuberant nightlife and much leisure, sporting, shopping, and recreational options flourish along its three kms of beach. The beer bars cater to every interest and nationality with charming hostesses to entertain
