Gateway to Myanmar
The vast province of Tak enjoys some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Thailand with an abundance of magnificent waterfalls, forests, national parks and wild life sanctuaries. It is the central province for the development of Northern Thailand, also being the communication center of the North. Amongst its numerous attractions to the tourist, Tak is home to the largest dam in Thailand stretching some 160 km to Chiang Mai.
