Nakhon Pathom - People

The Majority of the populations are engaged in agricultural production such as rice farming, fruit and vegetable farming as well as livestock rising. Particularly, the cultivation of Som-O (Pomelo) that has acquired a reputation for it’s finest of quality. As a result, Nakhon Pathom has become known to the public, both Thais and foreigners, according to the famous slogan, as a land of "Sweet Som-O, White rice, beautiful daughters and tasty khao laam" until the present time. Fundamentally, it has obviously a smooth, peaceful way of living People firmly believe in the importance of tradition, customs, religion and have the same language to communicate with one another. Nakhon Pathom is a in an interesting place for everyone who want to touch real life of native person or simple life in countryside.
