Kusu Island
Legend has it that the island was a giant turtle, which transformed itself into a large rock to save shipwrecked sailors. Taoists also make annual pilgrimages to the Tua Pekong Temple on the island during the ninth Lunar month, while Muslims visit Kramat Kusu, a Malay shrine.

Take a ferry from the World Trade Center.

Pulau Ubin
A bumboat from Changi Point takes you to Pulau Ubin, where the lifestyle hasn't changed much in the last 30 years, Visitors can still see traditional fishing huts called 'kelongs', duck and prawn farms, go mountain-biking and even camp out. Or check out Ubin's natural haven of flora and fauna in its mangrove and forest areas. A seafood restaurant, the magnificent Ma Chor temples by the seashore and limestone quarries complete the island.

Getting there
Take SBS bus 2 from Tanah Merch MRT (E9) to Changi Point. Then take a bumboat from the Changi Jetty nearby.

Sisters Island
Perfect for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving, Sisters Island is also ideal for picnics.

Getting there
Hire a water taxi  from Jardine Steps or Clifford Piper as there is no regular ferry service.

St. John's Island
This island is popular for weekend getaways and camping trips. Colonial bungalows are also available for rent (check with the booking counter at the World Trade Center).

Sentosa
Sentosa is a playground for people of all ages. See the listed attractions and you will understand why. Winner of the 9th Tourism Awards 1994-Leisure Attraction of the Year.

Getting there
Take Sentosa Bus Service E from Orchard Road or Service C from Tiong Bahru MRT (W3) Alternatively, take Service A, or the cable car from the World Trade Center.
