Seychelles, the unique granitic islands, are neither Africa nor Asia, neither Orient nor Occident, but just as pure as it gets when today it comes to the choice between East and West, North and South. Indeed a "being alone on a tropical beach" experience!!!

Festivals
Creole Festival is the biggest festival of the year. Artists from all over the region gather to display their works, play Creole music, dance, perform plays and generally celebrate their heritage. Subios, a festival to celebrate Seychelles' underwater world, is held over 3 weeks in November and attracts many.

Water Sports
Coral reef diving is the main sporting attraction in the Seychelles islands. Charter a powerboat, cabin cruiser or yacht for fishing or leisurely exploration at your own pace. Each year there is the Mahe/Praslin Windsurfing Competition, usually in September, which starts from Victoria, Mahe and finishes at Maison des Palmes Beach on Praslin.
