The dough out of the the wheat flour is converted into either roti, chappati, porrotta or tandoori over the oven and then one can go for a vegetarian thali or a chicken platter. Indian, continental and Chinese cuisines are also prevalent in urban areas. clusters of juice, milkshake, ice-cream and 'kulfi' stalls are in plenty. Hakka chow and chop suey can be tasted at many restaurants. American-style eateries, serving burgers, pizzas and milkshakes and excellent south Indian meals are also very common. north Indian cuisine too makes a fare in the state. Parsi palates and Arabic specialty like shwarma are also available at Maharashtra restaurants. Maharashtra cuisine involves only a normal amount of spices in it.
