The rivers of Goa viz. Tiracol, Chapora, Mandovi, Zuari, Sal, and Talpona have their origin in the Sahyadri ranges and flow westward into the Arabian Sea 60 kilometers away, breaking the coast line covering 105 kilometers into enchanting estuaries and bays. These rivers are navigable throughout the year.
