Folk Dances
Goa is a merry land of folk music and dance. The vivacious Goans zooming to the scintillating music renders a boisterous atmosphere. ‘Bhandap’ is a traditional folk dance performed by the womenfolk of the early settlers of Goa. 'Correndinho’ is Portuguese folk dance popular among the Goan elite youth. The other popular forms are Dekhni, Bhangra, Fudgi, Dhalo Ghode Modni, Goff, Kumbi, Tonyamel. Most of these dance forms are beautiful blend of the east and the west.
