The best time to visit Goa is during the dry cool winter months between late September and early March. In other times either the sun is too hot for comfort or the monsoon will be too harsh. From mid December to the end of January, the winter is perfect with the temperature ranging from 24º Celsius to 32º Celsius. Goa gets an annual rainfall of 320 cm. The rainy season is from June to September. During the Monsoon Goa becomes green and the wastelands become lakes. For the natives Goa is best during the rainy season.
