The homeland of simple and colorful tribals, Dadra and Nagar Haveli is the land of lush green forests, gentle hills, rivers bustling through, large water fronts and vast green meadows; a complete heaven for vacation lovers and a destination to spend some good time!

Sandwiched  between  the states of   Gujarat and Maharashtra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli is located in the western corner of India. As a union territory, it is quite small, confined as it is to an area less than 500 sq. km, covered with tall, awesome trees and winding rivers. The place is abounding in natural beauty and there are a host of things that look forward to doing in the quietness. Trekking in the rich forests, paddling in the waters in the company of swans, riding water scooters, aqua bikes, speedboats in the large expanse of Damanganga Reservoir or simply observing nature in its realm- this are some of the most interesting things to be done.

This quiet magical land has 72 villages and has been ruled by many a hands. And the memory of these rules still linger on, for a century and a half, the fiery Portuguese were the masters of the land. When the land was liberated from their rule, it was taken over by the locals until it merged with the Indian Union.
