Tamil Nadu has tropical climate. In summer, temperature touches 37º C (max) and 22º C (min) and in winter 36º C (max) and 19º C (min). The North West monsoon breaks around June-July and the southeast Monsoon, around December-January, in summer Tamil Nadu experiences hot climate.
