The summer is hot and dry. Yet is it is very pleasing to visit the place during summer. There is no much change in the climate in winter but for the cool nights and hotter days. Sankranti and Pongal is celebrated in the territory along with the sate of Tamil Nadu in the month of January. The time to visit is  preferably October to March.
