The summer and the winter make no
much variation in the climate of Andhra
Pradesh but the monsoon months are very
harsh over the costal regions. The best time
to visit the state is during the months from
October to February when the climate remains
pleasant. One can make the most out of the
tour during this as most of the local,
religious and annual tourism festivals are
celebrated during this period
Bathkama festival: Telengana region,
October - November.
Sankranti: Mid-January.
Deccan Festival: celebrated by A.P.
Tourism every year on 25th
February.
Rayalaseema Food & Dance Festival:
Rayalaseema Food & Dance festival is
organized by A.P. Tourism at Tirupati to
coincide with Bramhostavam of Lord Sri
Venkateswara in the Tamil month of Peratasi
(October).
Lumbini Festival: Lumbini festival is
organized from the 2nd Friday to
Sunday of December every year.
