Andhra Pradesh is one of the largest states in India with rich sources of history, traditions, heritage and culture. Andhra Pradesh consists of three distinct regions namely the coastal region, generally called Andhra, made of nine districts, the interior region consisting four Durga districts, collectively called Rayalaseema and Telengana region, consisting the capital region and adjoining nine districts.

Sri Sathya Sai BabaPuttaparthi was described, a few years ago, by a western writer as a place, 'a few footsteps away from stone age'. Today, however that very hamlet holds in its heart 'Prasanthi Nilayam' or Abode of the Highest Peace, one of the most important pilgrim centers of India and the world. The Ashram also has museums, stadiums, and educational institutions, the Sai Space Theatre etc.

Charminar

Hyderabad is the creation of the Qutab Shahi rulers, who were of Turkoman origin. The splendid city that came up was adorned with fine mosques and palaces-elegant buildings with their domes and minarets decorated with fine stucco ornamentation. The Qutab Shahi tombs near Golconda Fort, the Jami Masjid - the oldest mosque in the city, the splendid Meccaq Masjid, the largest in South India, the toil Masjid and the imposing Badshah-a-Shurkhana, Darul Shifa and the Hyderabad logo-the Charminar add to the splendor.
