Rajasthan lies in the northwest of the country and it is yet another state that borders with Pakistan. Punjab, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh are the states that border with Rajasthan inside the country. There is a wide disparity in the climate, soil, vegetation and mineral resources within the state.
