The winters are very cold and
summers are very pleasant. Usually the trips
to Jammu & Kashmir are made during
summer. In summer the maximum may be from 43
degree Celsius and the minimum temperature
is 23 degree Celsius. The months from
October to April are full of festivals and
one can enjoy over brim during the festivals
in Jammu and Kashmir.The festivals of Balsakhi
(13 - 14 April), Id-ul-Milad (October-November),
Shab-e-Miraj (March-April), Navaratri
(March - April) are celebrated
with much vigor.
