The best time to visit
The best season to visit India is the winter that starts from late November and lasts till the beginning of March. Soon the hot season starts and lasts till June, which is the beginning of the Monsoon season and the monsoon lasts till September. The two months of October and November is the transition period between the monsoon and the winter. The months of January and February is the prime time for touring entourage in Delhi and around. In February one can enjoy the Suraj Kund Crafts Mela in Suraj Kund, close to Delhi and the Garden Festival of Delhi. However the Roshanara festival is a spectacular summer fest of Delhi that is celebrated in the month of May.
