Sydney Festival is held in January, every year. This is an
exciting arts extravaganza of music, dance, performing and
visual arts. The Sydney Opera House, Museum of Contemporary Art,
Art Gallery of NSW, Royal Botanic Gardens, Queen Victoria
Building, Town Hall, St James Church, Darling Harbour etc are
the venues for the festival.
Many international companies presenting all forms of dance,
music, theatre and outdoor events are participating in the
Festival.
The Perth International Arts Festival
 The Perth International Arts Festival, which is the Grandfather
of Australian Festivals, is in its 50th year. It is staging some
of the most ambitious and exciting indoor and outdoor events,
showcasing the best productions from local, national &
international artists & companies.
Brisbane Festival
The best time to visit Brisbane is October because the Brisbane
Festival is held in that month. It offers a feast of drama,
music, theatre and visual arts, complemented by workshops,
forums and masterclasses. The Festival, held every two years,
celebrates Brisbane's distinctive character and makes a valuable
contribution to the culture and lifestyle of the city.
Local artists will feature prominently throughout the Festival,
with patrons having the opportunity to experience performances
by: Queensland Philharmonic Orchestra, Queensland Ballet,
Queensland Theatre Company, Queensland Symphony Orchestra etc.
 Barossa Vintage Festival
The Barossa Vintage Festival that is held bi-annually in April
is Australia's best known and longest running wine Festival. The
festival features wine, food, heritage and cultural events
staged in and around the Barossa Valley. |
