Hobart International Airport
Hobart International Airport, the major domestic and
international gateway to Tasmania, is situated at Cambridge just
12 kilometers east of the Clarence central business district and
17 kilometers from central Hobart via the Tasman Highway. The
airport has both domestic and international terminal complexes.
Flight travel times are approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to
Melbourne and 1 hour 50 minutes to Sydney.
There are no scheduled direct flights between Tasmania and other
countries - all international flights arrive here via one of the
other Australian cities. There are airport bus transfer services
at all major airports throughout the State. |
