Sahyadri safari has a dreamy package. The Sahyadri Mountains form the southeastern boundary of Kerala. It extends from the evergreen forests of Kerala to the thick wilds of Karnataka and the deciduous jungles of Tamil Nadu. It encompasses a wide area covering within its domain rivers, mountains, valleys, hill stations, forests and an untamed wildlife. It is the fertile ground for spices like tea, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, vanilla, turmeric, nutmeg, cummin seeds, garlic, star anise and a variety of trees like teak, sandalwood, mahogany, rosewood etc. It has a voluminous animal life comprising elephants, bison's, sambhars, tigers, bears, boars, wild dogs, jackals and a bird collection of flying squirrels, Indian hornbill, grackle (myna), gray jungle fowl, blue winged parakeets, wood peckers, fly catchers, king fishers etc. From the seaside to the top stations, from the riverbeds to the bushy forest in-ways... it is the corridor to an undreamed world.

The travelers can choose to travel in a higher tour class or a lower one. Tariff submitted on application. With advance notification the travelers can choose to increase the number of days of the tour in case they wish to stay more number of days at any places covered in the itinerary.

Itinerary
|
|
Day 1
The trip starts from Trivandrum and proceed to Kovalam and then to Cochin.
Day 2
After sightseeing of Cochin proceed to Athirapally - Vazhachal waterfalls. From the falls we go to Calicut for night halt. On the way we stop to watch elephants at Punnathoorkottai, Guruvayur.
Day 3
After having fun and frolics at Kappad Beach we then proceed to Wyanad to see Pookode Lake, the mad chain at Vythiri, Kalpetta, Sultan Battery, Gudalur and halt Masinagudi, a place located at the inner core of the jungle.
Day 4
The next day we stay back at Masinagudi to catch the hues and sounds of the jungle. You can go for day safari on elephants or jeeps.
Day 5
By early morning we proceed to Ootty. After sightseeing of Ootty halt at a panoramic location at Ootty.
Day 6
After an early breakfast we leave Ootty for Munnar. On the way we cover Ootty, Kunnur, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore, Udumalaipet, Chinnar and Marayur. At the sanctuaries of Chinnar and Marayur, you could spot some of the South Indian Wild animals.
Day 7
The next morning Munnar sightseeing
Day 8
Proceed from Munnar to Thekkady and after sightseeing and boating we proceed to Alleppey to board in a houseboat for cruising to Quilon (Kollam).
Day 9
On the ninth day by evening you will be picked up from Quilon and will be taken to Trivandrum.
