Day 01
Arrive - Delhi
Meet, assist on arrival and transfer to hotel Nikko. Overnight at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02
Delhi
Full day city tour of New & Old Delhi Qutab Minar, India Gate and the President's Palace. The city is built in a typically British colonial style with tree-lined avenues, colonial bungalows, the Parliament House, the War Memorial Arch and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India. Then, go down to Old Delhi to visit the Jami Masjid and the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Also visit the Red
Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03
Delhi - Udaipur
In time transfer to the airport to board flight IC 7471 (0610/0910) for Udaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel Trident. Afternoon city tour of Udaipur - visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple. Later drive around Fathesagar lake, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (folk art
museum). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04
Udaipur - Jodhpur (260 kms)
Morning depart by surface for Jodhpur visiting Ranakpur Jain temples (Temple opens only at 1100 Hrs. Leather belts and footwear not allowed in the Temple), built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surrounding is quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The Magic of light and shade is really awe-inspiring. attractions. On arrival transfer to hotel Taj Hari Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05
Jodhpur - Jaipur (332 kms)
Morning city tour visiting the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Pool Mahal Palaces. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memoriam built in
1899. Later drive to Jaipur and check-in at hotel Rajputana Palace Sheraton. Overnight at the hotel
Day 06
Jaipur
Morning visit to the Amber fort with elephant ride. This fort-palace was begun by Raja Man Singh and used by the Rajputs as their stronghold until Sawai Jai Singh II moved to the newly created Jaipur. You will visit the palace and its many intricate chambers and hallways, which has breathtaking views of the Jal Mahal (Water Palace)
below. Afternoon take a half-day tour of the city of Jaipur visiting the Maharaja's City Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the palace of the Winds. Also, drive past the rose pink residential and business areas of
Jaipur. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07
Jaipur - Agra (223 kms)
Morning depart by surface for Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri The deserted capital of Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned 15 years later due to a severe scarcity of water. You will visit the graceful buildings within such as the Jami Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal and other palaces. On arrival check-in at hotel Jaypee Palace. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08
Agra - Gwalior (120 kms )
Morning take a tour of the city visiting the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) was built in 1630 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his deceased wife Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The monument has been described as the most extravagant ever built for love, for the emperor was heart-broken when Mumtaz, to whom he had been married for 17 years, died in 1629 in childbirth soon after delivering her 14th child. Also visit Agra Fort - the fort is really a city within a city which embraces the Moti Masjid, the Diwan-i-Am or the Hall of Public Audiences, the Diwan-i-Khas or the Hall of Private Audiences, the Octagonal Tower, Jehangir's Palace and many more monuments. Later drive to Gwalior and check-in at hotel Usha Kiran Palace. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09
Gwalior - Delhi
In time transfer to the railway station to board Shatabdi express (1900 / 2245) for Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel Nikko. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Leave Delhi
In time transfer to the international airport to connect flight for onward destination. END OF THE PROGRAMME
